Ordering
You can order your light and/or sensor through the VeloCityLight shop. Other retailers will be added to our list soon.
We accept payment by most debit and credit cards. Your card will be charged when your order is made.
UK and EU purchases include VAT at 20%.
Delivery
We deliver worldwide. Postage is charged at a flat fee of £4.99 to addresses in the UK, £15 to addresses out with the UK.
When placing your order, you can specify a delivery address which is different to your credit/debit card billing address.
We aim to post orders within 2 working days (Monday-Friday) of receiving an order. Sometimes this is unachievable but we will contact you if it is going to take any longer.
We do not guarantee a delivery date on orders but in the UK we would expect you to receive your items within 2 days of posting.
Returns Policy
If you wish to return your item(s), you must do so within 14 days of receipt. Please advise us of your wish to cancel by email (sales@velocitylight.com) and mark your return package with your order number. We will accept items back only if they are in their original packaging, unused and in perfect condition. We reserve the right to reject items returned if not in this condition.
International returns, for Customs purposes, please mark the outside of your package ‘Returned goods, failed sale’. If you are returning items on which duty has been paid, you may be able to reclaim this duty from your local customs office with proof of postage.
A refund of the cost of the item(s) will be sent to the card used when purchasing within 5 days of receipt of the returned item(s). It may take up to 14 days for your bank to credit your account. We are not liable, and cannot take responsibility for, any bank charges that you may incur during the refund process.
Please also note that we do not pay the cost of postage for returns.
Faulty or Damaged Goods
If the item(s) you receive is in some way faulty, please let us know within 4 weeks of receipt and we will replace the item(s) or give you a refund as per your statutory rights.
Your rights relating to goods damaged in transit are dependent on the country in which you live. We will always do our best to help in any disputes.
FAQs
Will the VeloCityLight fit on my bike?
The VeloCityLight package includes a standard seatpost bracket which is easily fitted to your bike. Alternative attachments are available from other manufacturers to fit the light to different sizes/shapes of seatpost or to a pannier frame or bag/belt clip.
The battery lasts for 6 to 14 hours of continuous use depending on level of brightness chosen.
How do I charge it?
The VeloCityLight comes with a micro USB lead so you can charge it via your laptop or using a USB adapter plug. It takes 1-2 hours to fully charge.
How do I know how much battery power is left?
You can click the left display button on the VeloCityLight at any time to see how much battery power you have remaining.
How big is it?
The VeloCityLight measures 110mm x 60mm x 20mm - similar to the original iPhone.
How much does it weigh?
The VeloCityLight weighs only 66 grams.
Is VeloCityLight waterproof?
The VeloCityLight is waterproof sealed so you can use it in all weathers.
